Celebrate Award-Winning Wines During the Amador County Fair!
Helwig Winery is proud to have been named 2026 Amador County Fair Winery of the Year, and we’re celebrating with a special tasting experience you won’t want to miss.
Beginning Thursday, July 30, we’re offering an exclusive pre-release tasting of the award-winning wines that earned us this incredible honor. Many of these wines won’t be available again until 2027, making this a rare opportunity to be among the very first to taste them.
Visit us during the fair, July 30–August 2, and experience these exceptional wines before they’re gone. While you’re here, stay for lunch from the Helwig Kitchen, open Friday through Monday from 11:00 AM–4:00 PM, and enjoy delicious food alongside award-winning wines and breathtaking views of Shenandoah Valley.
