Our modern facility is built on the old Vaira Ranch site, on historic State Highway 49, compete with the original barn and ranch home. Come enjoy the bucolic view, taste the delicious wines from Amador County and Sierra Foothill fruit, and visit with us!

Family-owned Drytown Cellars is dedicated to producing outstanding wines—well balanced and intensely flavored. Winemaker and owner Allen Kreutzer brings more than 35 years of experience to provide the very best wines at prices that let you enjoy them every day.

Our wines include: Petite Sirah, Barbera, Tempranillo, Cabernet Sauvignon and Malvasia Bianca, grown here in Drytown (Amador County); and Pinot Noir, Merlot, Cabernet Franc, Sangiovese, Syrah, Malbec, Riesling and Chardonnay grown at our vineyard in Georgetown (El Dorado County). We also have a crisp Sauvignon Blanc, a beautiful Port Wine, made with traditional Portuguese varietals, Sparkling Wine, two Rosés, and other wines, all made from local fruit. Something for everyone!
