DESCRIPTION:Join us as we celebrate winemaker and owner Milan’s 90th birthday on Saturday\, April 11th. Festivities to include live music from Late for Dinner\, food available to purchase from Chef Andy’s Crossover Kitchen\, new wine releases\, and more. \nCelebrate Owner and Winemaker Milan Matulich’s 90th Birthday and Dobra Zemlja’s April Club Release on Saturday\, April 11th from 11am to 4pm. We invite you to join us as we celebrate the one and only Milan! \nListen to live music out on our scenic grounds and enjoy delicious locally sourced and seasonal food with an Eastern European twist available to purchase from Chef Andy’s Mobile Cross Over Kitchen. We will be debuting during the event our long-awaited 2023 Reserve Barbera as well as barrel tasting one of our signature ‘Big Amador Reds\, No Lightweights’. Get your photo taken with Milan and even have him sign your favorite bottle! \nThis event is open to the public. Tasting fees apply for non-wine club member groups. There is a $15.00 tasting fee per person\, which is individually waived with wine purchase. Wine club members and their groups receive complimentary admission and wine tasting\, but ticket reservations are recommended. Regular admission tickets are available for $60+fees and designated driver tickets for $10+fees. \nAbout the Event \nJoin the Wineries of Start On Steiner as we celebrate the 11th Annual Start On Steiner Spring into Zin happening on Saturday\, April 25th\, 2026. \nAmador County is home to some of the oldest and best Zinfandel vines in the country and many of us here on Steiner Road use these vines to produce exquisite Zinfandel wines. Spring into Zin is a true celebration of this varietal that has a storied history in Amador County. \nDuring the event\, you will have the opportunity to explore the Steiner Road wineries and discover the finesse\, elegance\, history\, and diversity of our unique terroir on Amador County’s First Wine Trail. The wineries of Steiner Road will be showcasing a selection of their wines with a focus on Zinfandel.
