AMADOR VINTNERS’ ASSOCIATION(“AVA”) respects your privacy and is committed to protecting it. We’ve structured our web site so that, in general, you can visit AVA on the web without identifying yourself or revealing any personal information. AMADORWINE.COM does not post third-party ads on our web site. AVA may use third-party media companies to place ads for AVA products or services on other companies’ web sites. If you view a web page where AVA ads appear, the online media company may place a cookie or web beacon on the user’s computer. This allows the online media company to recognize the computer when it is used to return to that site or measure advertising response. This data is anonymous and is not linked to personal data on the user’s computer or any AVA databases. Some AVA newsletters delivered on AVA’s behalf by online media companies use the same technologies. In both cases, this data is also used by the online media company to measure advertising and content interest and relevance. AVA does not have access to the data collected by the online media company. To prevent online media companies from placing cookies on your computer, you will need to visit each media company’s web site and use their cookie removal (opt-out) process.

The opinions and or views expressed on Amador Vintners Association (AVA) social media platforms, including, but not limited to our website, Facebook and Twitter pages, represent the thoughts of online communities, and not those necessarily of AVA or any of their respective employees, or members of its board of directors. The opinions and views expressed on these pages do not in any way reflect the views of the site they are posted on, other sites affiliated with the site, the staff involved with maintaining the site or any members of the site.
Social Media Guidelines
Marketing, advertising and social media statements are not to be inflammatory or discriminatory or detrimental to the Amador Vintner’s Association, its’ members, associate members or community. Marketing, advertising and social media shall be used for the positive promotion of initiatives and objectives set forth by the Amador Vintners Association Board of Directors, members and staff to further the image and long term growth of the Group. Once notified, marketing, advertising and social media found to be detrimental, inflammatory or discriminatory will be removed without prejudice and the poster/user will be blocked from additional and further postings of this nature.
Release of Likeness
By purchasing or redeeming a ticket to an Amador County Vintners Association event, the attendee hereby irrevocably consents to and authorizes the use by Amador County Vintners Association, its officers and employees, (“Vintners”) of the attendee’s image, voice and/or likeness as follows: The Vintners shall have the right to photograph, publish, re-publish, adapt, exhibit, perform, reproduce, edit, modify, make derivative works, distribute, display or otherwise use or reuse the attendees’s image, voice and/or likeness in connection with any product or service in all markets, media or technology now known or hereafter developed in Vintner’s products or services, as long as there is no intent to use the image, voice and/or likeness in a disparaging manner. Vintners may exercise any of these rights itself or through any successors, transferees, licensees, distributors or other parties, commercial or nonprofit. The attendee acknowledges receipt of good and valuable consideration in exchange for this Release, which may simply be the opportunity to represent the Vintners in its promotional and advertising materials as described above.
