Thursday, October, 12th – Tuesday, October, 31st
Our thoughts and prayers go to out to our friends, families and colleages facing wild fires in the Napa, Sonoma and Mendocino regions. The needs on the ground are real and immediate.
Many Amador Vintners’ member wineries will be collecting donations this weekend (and throughout October) to help the fire victims with immediate assistance and long-term recovery assistance.
Our members are also donating on their own! Many wineries are donating various percentages of their sales or flat amounts for each bottle purchased.
Participating Amador wineries (updated frequently):
Andis Wines – Collecting donations through October 31
Amador Cellars – Donating a portion of tasting room sales and collecting donations through October 31.
Bella Grace Vineyards – Collecting donations
C.G. Di Arie Vineyard and Winery – 10% of all retail sales from both locations
Dobra Demlja – $1 donation to Salvation Army from each bottle purchased
Iron Hub – Donating a portion of proceeds from tasting room sales through October 31
Renwood Winery – gathering and delivering needed items for displaced families (click here for details)
Scott Harvey Wines – 10% of sales from both Amador locations through October 15th
Vino Noceto – Dollar-for-dollar match of tasting room customer donations up to $1,000
Wine Tree Farm – $1 donation for each bottle purchased through October 31
Donations will be distributed based on regional impact to the following organizations:
- Napa Valley Community Foundation’s Disaster Relief Fund
- Community Foundation of Sonoma County’s Resilience Fund
- Community Foundation of Mendocino County Disaster Fund of Mendocino County
As the needs for funding will be long-lasting, we will work along with our winery association colleages in regions across the state on this relief campaign throughout the month of October.
On behalf of the Amador Vintners Association, our members and all of those impacted by these horrific fires, THANK YOU for your support.
