Karmere (Car-MARE) is a family-owned and operated winery with carefully groomed estate vineyards of Barbera, Syrah, Zinfandel and Nebbiolo. Evoking a French chateau, our tasting room overlooks the vineyards, valley and winery. The winery resembles an old church, complete with bell towers. Karmere produces some of Amador's boldest Zins and Syrahs. Enjoy our gardens, picnic area and often fresh baked bread.
