  • The Amador Vintners have 37 member wineries with tasting rooms in the Shenandoah Valley, Fiddletown, Sutter Creek, Willow Creek and Ione areas.
  • The Amador Vintners Office & Visitor Center is located at 9310 Pacific Street, (Hwy. 49) in the small town of Plymouth at the entrance to Shenandoah Valley.
  • Wine grapes represent the single largest agriculture commodity in Amador County, comprising nearly 50% of total agricultural value.
  • In 2008, 3,700 acres of wine grapes were planted in Amador, yielding over 13,000 tons of grapes at an average price per ton of $1,080.
  • Amador Vintner wineries generate $60 million in wine sales annually, including $10 million in tasting room sales; they employ 150 full-time employees and 300 part-time and seasonal workers.
  • Wine tourism in Amador generates $35 million annually in non-wine expenditures.
