Art and Wine lovers will enjoy the Textile Art of nine members of the California Fiber Artists at the Shenandoah Gallery in Amador County’s Shenandoah Valley Wine Country. The show runs September 1st through November 30th. Featured pieces include quilted fiber wall hangings, interactive textile creations, and even quilted garments. Artists will be greeting guests and answering questions.Art enthusiasts can taste the latest wine releases while strolling through the gallery and viewing the varied works of art. Also on display are Ceramics by David Ross, and Lombok Island Native Pottery and Baskets.

Wine lovers enamored of the rich, robust wines of Amador County in California’s picturesque Sierra Foothills can soon savor them to their heart’s content. On Saturday, October 2nd and Sunday, October 3rd, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., 33 member wineries of the Amador Vintners will host “The Big Crush,” the vintners’ annual Harvest Wine Festival. For two days during the heart of the grape harvest season, Amador aficionados can partake of great wine, food, music and other harvest festivities amidst the scenic beauty of Amador Wine Country. Tickets will go on sale July 1st.
